Memory Mosaic is a non-verbal but fun corporate team building activity in Bangkok to encourage collaboration and communication skills.

Elevate your team’s energy with this fun, high-impact challenge that blends strategy, memory, and teamwork:

  • 50 Giant Cards: 30x30 cm cards laid out in a grid, face down. Teams compete to find matching pairs.

  • Non-Stop Action: Flip, match, and score while racing against the clock. Each team has just 20 seconds per turn!

  • No Talking, No Notes: Teams must rely on silent collaboration and sharp observation to succeed.

  • Customizable Themes: Tailor the cards with images reflecting leadership, strategy, communication, or even highlights from your event.

  • High Stakes, High Fun: Adjust time limits to amplify pressure and test decision-making under stress. Perfect for leadership teams or energizing any group.

  • Versatile Placement: Great for Fizzy programs, corporate offsites, or as an unforgettable finale to multi-day events.

This game isn’t just about memory; it’s about creating lasting connections, sharpening focus, and celebrating teamwork in a way your group will never forget!

  • What is the goal of this team building activity?

This game has two main objectives: a learning objective and a game objective.

    Learning Objective:
The game focuses on fostering collaboration within your team. Participants must memorize card placements and communicate with their teammates in a non-verbal manner, strengthening teamwork and creativity. Additionally, time management is critical—teams need to be ready to select cards within a set time frame. If a team is too slow, they will have to skip their turn, emphasizing the importance of staying organized and efficient under pressure.

    Game Objective:
To win, your team must collect more matching pairs of cards than the competing teams. Success requires strategy, coordination, and sharp memory skills to outperform the competition.

This combination of learning and fun creates an engaging and impactful experience for all participants!

  • What's the ideal group size for this activity

This non-verbal communication team-building game is best suited for groups with a minimum of 12 participants.

Ideally, each playfield accommodates 20 to 30 people for optimal engagement and interaction. For groups larger than 30, additional playfields can be set up to ensure everyone participates effectively.

This often allows us to include multiple activities within the event. While we rarely offer standalone activities, it is possible. For more details, feel free to contact us.

The Memory Mosaic can be a standalone event or part of a Fizzy or Learning with Fun program.

  • How does the Memory activity encourage teamwork?

Teamwork is a key element of the Memory activity, manifesting in two crucial phases:

    • Strategy Phase: Before the game begins, teams must collaborate to develop a winning strategy. This involves discussing their approach, defining clear roles, and ensuring every team member understands their responsibilities.
    • Gameplay Phase:During the activity, teamwork is essential as participants operate under pressure and rely on non-verbal communication—a mode of interaction that may feel unfamiliar or "alien" to them. This challenge pushes teams to adapt, think creatively, and trust one another to achieve their shared goal.

By integrating strategic planning and dynamic execution, the activity reinforces collaboration and strengthens bonds within the team.

  • What are the safety measures for this activity?

There is only one safety measure in place for the Momory Mosaic which is  "Running Not Permitted".  Beunite can issue day insurances if it is required.

  • Can the activity be customized?

    Absolutely!

While customization of the Memory Mosaic isn’t strictly necessary, it is highly recommended to enhance the experience.

Customizing the activity revolves around the images displayed on the memory cards.

These images can be tailored to reflect specific topics such as time management, leadership, organizational change, or organizational health.

By aligning the visuals with your chosen theme, the facilitator can use them as discussion points during the debriefing session, making the activity more meaningful and relevant to your objectives.

With proper customization, this activity can even be expanded into a half-day event, offering deeper insights into a chosen topic and enhancing engagement for participants.
